Rendi ~ Say More with Your Decor! ~ #Review & #Giveaway

Earlier this year, I discovered a company I absolutely fell in love with. It was Rendi and I couldn’t get enough! If you aren’t familiar with this fabulous site, Rendi offers custom photo frames, home and wall decor signs. This is right up my alley as my home is covered with photo frames!

I just love that you can customize the names, add dates, and add quotes! Each design often comes with several color schemes you can choose from. Every item is made from 100% recycled wood right here in the US. Rendi only uses water-based finishes on their frames and signs. No toxins are used and the eco-friendly products resist fading and cracking.

Rendi means “you make” in Italian, and the name is quite fitting! It is YOU who gets to MAKE a product to reflect your creativity and style.  YOU get to MAKE a gift to express to a love one just how special your relationship really is. The Rendi products are personalized and one of a kind. I already had a personalized photo frame for my son, so when Rendi offered me a review, I wanted to create something really unique for two very special people in my life… my brother and his fiancee.

The Rendi Corporate Headquarters generously offered me a $50 gift certificate to create anything offered on the Rendi site. The options were unlimited! The style selections are quite creative. There is something for every occasion and family member. If you are looking for a specific gift, there are different themes available to search. The site allows you to search by product type or product line which makes finding the right item super easy.

I could not wait for my creation to arrive! Luckily for an impatient girl like me, your order is created and processed within 48 hours. Shipping was FAST! After I ordered, it had only been a few days before the box showed up on my step. I was so excited and even more amazed when I pulled the package out. Rendi generously gifts wrap every item they create for you in a beautiful package!

So what did I create for my brother and his fiancee? I decided on a photo frame in honor of his upcoming nuptials. I went with the R5111 Pure Cottage Classic Vertical 4×6 Photo Frame. My goal was for them to put their wedding portrait in the frame once married. I personalize the frame with their names, wedding date, and even a nice quote all for FREE! I’m used to so many other personalization shops that nickel and dime me even for one initial. Not Rendi though! Another aspect I love is that you can upload an image when creating your product, and Rendi will print a Kodak quality photograph for free, and place it in the frame for you! I uploaded an image of them together at my wedding for them to use in the mean time till they have a wedding photo.

There are areas on the back which assist in easily hanging the frame on the wall, or you can use the wooden rod provided to allow the frame to free stand. I couldn’t believe how lightweight the frame was to hang perfectly on my wall! It is still sturdy and durable, which is a major plus in my book. So many times I’ve purchased a frame where the backing falls off easily or it just doesn’t stay together properly.

Another aspect I love about Rendi, is that they are a business with a heart! When you buy a “Dig it” photo frame, Rendi donates 100% of the net proceeds to Charity Water! This is such a great cause that digs fresh-water wells that will bring clean drinking water to an entire village in a third world nation.
