I don’t have anticipation for any gift in particular…I am just very happy to be able to even exchange gifts this year. I had a terrible time finding a job all year long, and just found one in the nick of time. I will get my first check the 23rd, and be able to buy Christmas gifts! So anything I GET will be just fine – I am so much more excited to be able to GIVE gifts!!

We read the Christmas Story from the Book of Matthew in the Bible on Christmas morning before we open any presents. It helps us remember the real Reason for the Season!

My favorite holiday tradition is having brunch with my extended family (sisters, brother, spouses, kids, grandparents, aunts & uncles, etc) the day after Christmas. The madness of shopping and gift giving is over at that point and we can all relax and enjoy ourselves while the kids are fully entertained with gifts from the day before. It’s the best time of the whole holiday season.
