Since 2017, Maryland has been celebrating the month of March as Maryland Wine Month! Yesterday kicked off a 21 day event here in Annapolis, featuring all things Maryland Oysters! The Annapolis Oyster Fest, hosted by the Downtown Annapolis Partnership and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, will take place now through March 21. The fest serves to celebrate this Maryland seafood delicacy with specials at local restaurants, in an effort to raise funds for Chesapeake Bay restoration projects, along with oyster restoration efforts, and oyster shell recycling. Specials will features not only oysters, but local craft beers as well, for both dine-in and carry-out.

February has arrived, which means it is also FeBREWary here in Maryland! As February is Maryland Craft Beer Lovers Month, the Brewers Association of Maryland (BAM), uses this time to promote Maryland beers and encourage craft beer fans to “Love Thy Beer” via exploring the local breweries and businesses centered around craft beer! Due to COVID-19, the FeBREWary consumer event will not take place. However, patrons are still encouraged to Love Thy Beer at the local breweries!
