Crane Adorables Cool Mist Humidifier ~ #Review

Well Winter is officially here!  Temperatures have dropped and wow is it cold out there. Winter is also the dreaded flu season. Baby C had already had his first cold this season and one of the doctor’s suggestion was to put a humidifier in his room.  Humidifiers are great for colds, allergies, and asthma, so we pulled ours out of the closet and set it up in his room. However, there was something off about this big ugly grey box sitting in my son’s cheerful room.  There had to be a more “kid approved” humidifier out there.  This is where Crane Adorables come in!

While reading up on these humidifiers, I learned that they were not only beneficial for cold and flu symptoms like nasal congestion and dry cough, but also relieve nose bleeds, itchy eyes, and dry skin

How cute is this dog? The set was really quick and easy! Just pulled this guy out of the box, and then I filled the tank section up with water.  Next I just turned it on and out came the mist! I posted a video at the end of this review so you can see the mist in action. I could immediately feel the increase in air moisture, which makes for easier breathing (and a good night’s sleep
)! I could tell there was enough power to humidify his room as it can effectively humidify a room up to 250 square feet. During the night, the one gallon tank ran “”whisper quiet” and never disturbed the sleeping baby.  The Adorables can run up for 24 hours so this was great that I could leave it running overnight. Another benefit to this humidifier is that it has an auto shutoff safety sensor. You can rest assure that if it runs out of water, it will automatically shut off.

Cleaning was easy too! When finished just empty the water basin and water tank (note that you need to empty the water basin before you refill the water tank so bacteria does not breed). To disinfect all you have to do is place about 3 to 4 capfuls of white vinegar or non-toxic cleaning solution in 4 cups of warm water (for the water tank). Then shake and let sit for 30 minutes. Afterward just rinse! Do the exact same for the water basin, but just a lesser portion.

Overall I’m very happy with the Crane Adorables Humidifier.  Not only is it practical and beneficial to my son’s health, but it also so cute! After just a few nights his congestion improved immensely.  Since it does not boil water like warm mist does, along with its safety features, I can rest peacefully knowing it is safe to run in my son’s room all night. Right now they are taking entries to name their Tiger! The Dog and Owl still have yet to be named.  Be on the lookout for those contest announcements.
