Zevia ~ All Natural Soda ~ #Review & #Giveaway

I’ve never been much of a diet soda drinker. I had the impression that diet soda did not equal great taste. Little did I know that there was a great all natural soda out there they had both great taste and zero calories! I’m talking about Zevia! Their secret? They use stevia instead of sugar or artificial sweeteners. This mean not only do you get a great tasting soda, but you’ll get one that is healthier for you!

About Zevia

The Z team is made up of soda-loving people. We grew up drinking classic soda flavors, and turned away from them for health reasons. So making naturally delicious, healthy versions of the familiar favorites we grew up with, without sugar, is our top priority. We make soda the way it should always have been.

Zevia sent me a variety six pack of their all natural soda to try and review! The flavors included Black Cherry, Cream Soda, Dr. Zevia, Grape, Grapefruit Citrus, and Mountain Zevia. Overall, Zevia offers a variety of 12 different flavors.

As previously stated above, Zevia uses stevia, a plant from the sunflower family, to sweeten their soda. Stevia is sweeter than sugar, but since it contains no calories, nor does it effect your blood sugar, this little plant provides a much healthier aspect to the Zevia sodas.

Of the sodas I tasted, Black Cherry was my absolute favorite! I’m a fan of cherry-flavored colas, so I was very happy to discover a great tasting cherry soda with zero calories. No need to waste my money on name brand cherry-flavored colas. This is definitely the flavor I plan on purchasing in the future! I also like the Grapefruit Citrus. I found this flavor a little different, but rather tasty. It had a nice crisp and refreshing  zing to it!

The Grape soda had the same nostalgic taste of the grape sodas I drank as a child, which I very much enjoyed. Mountain Zevia reminded me of Mountain Dew, but with just a little more hint of lime to the taste. The Dr. Zevia was very similar to its name brand counterparts, but with a little bit of a different after taste. I didn’t not try the Cream Soda as I am not a fan in general. I gave it to my neighbor to try who loves Cream Soda. He very much appreciated the gesture and told me it was delicious!
