Every good super hero movie needs a villain! In the case of Thor and The Avengers, there was Loki played by Tom Hiddleston. Let’s face it, Tom played a villain quite well! Loki is the Trickster, aka the Master of Magic. Manipulation is his weapon and boy did he use that power to a tee in both films!
Plus did you see him “crash” the Thor: The Dark World panel at Comic-Con this year? The man’s mannerisms and the demand for the audience to “Say My Name!” show his nature as a sleek and sneaky villain.
Though I start to wonder… Will Loki stay a villain for a third movie?
When we last saw Loki in The Avengers, he was headed back to Asgard with Thor to face the penalties for his crimes. This is where it gets interesting though! Take a look at the clip below. I think it gives hints that Loki may be on his way to seeking redemption and acceptance from Thor and others, especially as they face an even greater villain! Then again… he IS the Trickster! So who really knows…
When Do We Start?

I received the following information as a blogger via Walt Disney Publications. While I’m attending an expense paid trip by Disney to the Thor: The Dark World Premiere, all opinions are 100% my own.
I like Loki as a villain, but for the sake of the storyline I think he’ll be redeemed. They always ruin things in that way.
I love that you have Thor inspired recipes! That is a true fan, right there! Thanks for sharing.
Have fun in Hollywood!!!!
my husband cannot wait for this movie to come out, right up his alley – total comic book buff!
Checking out the Mighty Stuffed Burger!
I think in the end, he’ll stay a villain.
i would love to see this movie! We loved the first one..can’t wait for this one. I would love to see Loki redeemed and no longer the villain, but yet, he’s just such a good villain too.
I hope you have a great time in Hollywood! I am sure you will… and I think Loki will still stay a villain, every story needs a good villain right?
I’m really looking forward to seeing this – Loki is fantastic – it will be great to see what they do with him in this film – I mean who doesn’t love to hate the bad guy! x
Have fun! this movie looks great.
I can’t wait to see this movie! It will be interesting to see what they do with him.
