Just 9 more days till the first day of Spring! I’m ready to put together some Spring looks! This past weekend we had gorgeous weather in the 50s/60s, and it totally put me in the mood for one of my favorite seasons. This inspired me to head into my closet and start pulling out my favorite Spring looks and staples. After looking to see what colors were hot for Spring this year, I decided why not update some of the pieces I already with a Spring 2013 twist?
It wasn’t too long ago I picked up this adorable dress from Macy’s. I found it fun and flirty, but the color seemed more winter appropriate. I often paired it with black accessories, but decided to get a feel of how it would look if I wore it in the Spring with turquoise, mint, and emerald hues! I saw these colors heavily used in Kate Spade’s Spring 2013 line. Plus the other day I walked by a display window in the mall for EXPRESS and again saw lots of mints and emeralds! These colors are definitely a hot trend right now, and absolutely perfect for Spring.

I can’t wait to try to put everything together! I might not wear all the accessories at the same time. However, I love the pop of color it gives my grey dress. Let’s hope it works out!

Love the pastel colors, make me think of Easter – I think that colors like turquoise and orange will be on trend.
I can’t wait to start wearing spring clothes. After a long winter I’m so sick of all my winter clothes already.

Love the mint but greens don’t look too great on me. Coral would be my choice.
While I’ve heard neon is back, I’m not a fan. However, I’m thrilled to see a lot of coral colors lately. I love that color.
I am so horrible at picking fashion colors or styles. I do love the colors that come with spring though, usually pastels which brighten up things after a long winter.
