So here I am at the end of Week 6 with Nutrisystem on the Women’s Select Success Plan. This was a rough week. Professional life wise, I was swamped at my day job. Very busy and hard to find a moment to breathe. That same week, my son decided to go through a phase where he wanted to be a clinging monkey and had to be holding onto me every second of the day while I was home. Did I mention my lap top had a virus? What was suppose to be a 24 hour turn around turned into nearly a week because employees simply forgot to work on my computer. To say I was livid is an understatement. So once things calmed down, and finally started to go back to normal, I realized it was the end of the week and weigh in time. I had a feeling I wasn’t going to be happy with the number I would see.
So this morning when I weighed myself, I saw I lost 0 lbs. Yup, a big fat zero, nothing. I’m disappointed in myself and wish I could have handled my stress better. One night I ended up cheating with sushi and a some wine. I’m sure that didn’t help one bit.
Week 2 – 1 lb.
Week 5 – 2 lbs.
Aside from the stress, I wasn’t proactive enough to get in My Daily Three. I rarely exercised. I actually didn’t get in a good amount of activity until this past weekend. We had nice long walks on Saturday and Sunday, but I really wish I had made more of an effort to get in more activity the other days of the week.
I also didn’t do a very good job of getting all my servings of vegetables in. I rarely had any salads for lunch. I’ll admit, pretty much the only vegetable I put on my pizza was mushrooms. Finding the time to get to the store for fresh produce just didn’t seem to be in the cards.
I think I let my stress get to me a little too much. I skipped meals I shouldn’t have skipped. Some days I ended up eating more than I should have, while on others I rarely ate anything. My body was probably confused, wondering what I was doing!
So I’m trying to shake off the disappointment from this past week and focus on the upcoming week. I need to make sure I get all My Daily Threes in and no more cheating! Sushi and wine will be there when this is over. In the mean time, I need to get my act together so I can see the pounds drop again.

Try not to let the zero get you down. At least you did not gain! Hopefully your week isn’t very stressful so you can focus on your exercise and eating again!

Try not to let it get you down! It’s easy to feel this way when trying to lose weight. It has it’s ups and downs. You can do it!
