If you follow my running and racing posts, you may recall that over Veteran’s Day weekend I ran in three races. One of them was the Warriors of Steel Run to benefit the Semper Fi Fund. If you aren’t familiar with the Semper Fi Fund, they provide assistance to post 9-11 Marines and Sailors, as well as members of the Army, Air Force or Coast Guard who serve in support of Marine forces.
It turns out the run was so popular, that they opened up registration again! That’s right… No Pain No Bling is hosting VIRTUAL Warriors of Steel Run if you wish to participate. It means that once you register, you can run anywhere on any date (by the end of the year), and then submit your time into the race.
You can register on the No Pain No Bling website. Registration is open until December 31st, or until they have sold out of medals.
My medal actually arrived this week and I love it! Great running bling to add to my collection. Unlike some other race medals I’ve earned, this one is die-cast and heavy, which is a major plus! No sticker or cheap insert on this one. Plus I just love the red glittery “S”. In my medal package I received some other goodies, which I’m quite appreciative of! Thanks again No Pain No Bling for hosting a fun run for a good cause!
All opinions are 100% my own.
