Volo City, a Baltimore-based social sports organization is rolling out a free summer sports league program for Baltimore City youth! To celebrate these new programs, they are inviting parents, children and members of the community for a FREE outdoor festival on Saturday, June 10 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the Port Covington area of Baltimore City at the fields across from Sagamore Spirit Distillery.
During the festival, guests can enjoy a live band and DJ, kids play area, food trucks and adult beverages. The event will also feature tastings with Sagamore Rye, games with FX Studios and Pixelated photo booths. The best part? Kids can sign-up for the free Volo City Kids summer youth sports leagues! “Volo City is much more than just sports and social play–we are a movement, connecting people in a meaningful way with a focus on wellness,” states Giovanni Marcantoni, CEO of Volo City. “We’re exciting for this new phase of the organization and proud to make Baltimore City our home base as we continue to expand nationally.”
Volo City Kids Foundation offers programs for youth ages 6 to 12, providing opportunities for children to learn, practice and play sports in a fun, structured environment. Connecting adult players and volunteers to children throughout the city is a pillar of the “purpose” component of the Volo City brand. The program offers a free meal at every league play and a variety of sports such as football, volleyball, soccer and sailing.
