I truly think that I’m lucky enough in life to have people who I can up and down swear they are a true friend. Sure, we might annoy each other from time to time, get frustrated, or even get into our little “tiffs”. Though when it comes down to the nitty gritty, I know I can rely on them, like they can rely on me.
The above image contains a quote that I actually heard tonight. I know with my friends that I can trust them. I can trust them to never judge me, to always keep my secrets (I swear nothing bad!), and to always be there for me. If you can’t trust your best friends, then who can you really trust? I know I always do whatever I can to remind them that I’m their true friend and they can always trust me. So yes, this short but sweet post is dedicated to my true friends, my amazingly true friends. Hopefully you may be inspired by a quote or two in this post to think about (and thank!) your solid and true friends in life. (So if any of you who I was chatting with about friendship tonight are reading this right now, thank you!)
So this then got me thinking about some of my other favorite friendship quotes…

I don’t have it in front of me, but there’s one about those friends you have that you can not see or talk to for long periods of time and you can always pick up right where you left off as if you spoke just yesterday. I have a friend like that. She lives across the country and since we’re in different time zones and she works odd hours, it is hard to keep in touch, but we’ll drop everything if one of us needs something and we can talk about anything. We’ve known each other for over 25 years.
