With Halloween just 2 months away, UNICEF is gearing up for their legendary Trick or Treat for UNICEF campaign! Only this year, the charity is doing something a little different by offering your child a fun new way to be creative and still help raise funds for children in need. This year debuts the new Create A Character Contest! Your child will be able to design their own collection box and submit it as the potential new character for next year! The winning designs (three categories total: ages 4-8, 9-12, and 13+) will be part of 2013’s limited-edition collection! This contest runs through October 26th.
Children can also use pre-made boxes for Trick or Treating! This year’s collection features Count Change-ula (Vampire), Lady Pennyworth (Princess), Shadow (Black Cat), Bertha DeBroom (Witch), Patches (Pumpkin), and Frank (Monster)! Click HERE for more info on how to pre-register for the campaign as well as receive additional materials, such as a poster, stickers, and more.
