This holiday season I’ve been enjoying a little more “cheer” in my drinks! As part of the She Speaks Blogger Program, I’ve had the privilege of taking part in the Torani Holiday Cheers Program.
Family-owned Torani has been creating great tasting flavored syrups to enhance drinks since 1925! They’ve crafted over 120 flavors in both Regular and Sugar Free varieties. For years Torani has been a staple in producing flavor in coffees, lattes, mochas, cocoas, Italian sodas, teas, lemonades, cocktails, smoothies, and many more.
Torani and She Speaks generously sent me two 750 ml bottles of Torani Syrups plus a recipe booklet, and 5 coupons for $1 off my next Torani purchase. The flavored syrups included were Sugar-Free Hazelnut and Sugar-Free Pumpkin Pie! Now I’m not particular about sugar verse artificial sweeteners. However, there are members in my family who I am sharing the syrups with who prefer Splenda to sugar. It is nice to know that Torani offers Sugar-Free options for those who prefer!
Now if you regularly check out my Facebook page, you know how much I love coffee! Now I like to drink my coffee either black or with a little bit of skim. Boring, I know. I’m just not a fan of sugar in my coffee. However, I must say I think the syrups are a great alternative to adding sugar and it gives coffee an extra kick and flavor! If you pour a little Pumpkin Pie into your coffee, the syrup adds enough flavor that no extra sugar is needed. I actually didn’t feel the need to add any skim to my coffee after pour in a bit of Torani!
I also used the Pumpkin Pie in baking! My favorite creation I came up with is the Pumpkin Pound Cake. I posted the recipe the other day and you can find it HERE.
As for Hazelnut, that is one of my favorite flavors to mix with chocolate. I decided to test out the syrup with some cocktail recipes. Instead of using a hazelnut liquor like Frangelico®, the syrup is useful for a virgin version or if you would like to cut down the alcohol content. I don’t have a name of this drink, but it is a nice hazelnut creation. Perfect for sipping by the Christmas tree and fireplace.
Ingredients to Mix
1/2 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
1/2 oz of Sugar-Free Hazelnut Syrup (or 1 oz if you don’t include Frangelico)
1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1 oz dark creme de cacao
2 oz cream or milk
Then shake ingredients over ice. Make sure you shake until completely cold then strain into a chilled glass or over ice in a rocks glass. Enjoy!

I have a caramel Torani syrup and LOVE it! I will have to pick up the Hazelnut and try to Maryland Momma Holiday drink :)
I wouldn’t have thought to use these in baking. Love that idea!
This makes me crave coffee so hard. Oh my goodness, they look so delicious!
Looks delicious.
Oooh, pumpkin pie sounds delish!
That sounds delish!
I cannot wait to have another cup of coffee.

I need to share this with my mother. I am not a coffee drinking but she LOVES it and is looking for something other than sugar to sweeten it.
Hazlenut has always been my favorite. They are rather sweet syrups, and I use them in place of sugar too
