Visit Florida for Awesome Vacation Adventures!

With summer approaching, I have vacations on the brain! I’ve been researching mountain getaways, the seaside ports nearby, open range road trips, and of course warm sunny beaches. I do have to say that the beaches in FLORIDA are some of my favorite! There is a reason it’s called the Sunshine State. I’ve been daydreaming about laying out on the sand, soakin in the rays, and dipping my toes in the ocean.

Florida isn’t just for relaxing getaways though. When you VISIT FLORIDA, you can find fun for the whole family! There is everything from family-friendly resorts to amusement parks to fun attractions. Florida has something for everyone, and this summer is the time to go.

There are so many fun opportunities and vacations available for when you VISIT FLORIDA. Now my favorite Florida memories include heading to Orlando and visiting Disney World! This summer I think I might mix it up and check out the Bonaventure Resort & Spa. Relaxing in a Four-Diamond Spa with an amazing massages for me, and then visiting Zoo Miami and the Sawgrass Recreation Park for my son. I just know he would love the airboat tour of the Florida everglades. He just loves animals, and this momma loves her spa days. It’s a win-win vacation for us both.

Spa and wildlife not your thing? There are still amazing attractions such as the Richard Petty Driving Experience at Daytona International Speedway or the PGA National Resort & Spa. They are perfect for those who love the speed of NASCAR, or the game of golf.

Wordless Wednesday: A Look Back at My Favorite Trip to Disney World ~ #WW #DisneySMMoms

My family and I are HUGE Disney fans! In my lifetime, I’ve been so many times! Looking back, I think one of my most favorite trips is when my siblings and I went to Disney back in 2006. You see we hadn’t been there together since we were minors still all living under our parents’ roof. To the people who say the theme park is just for kids, boy are they wrong! We had such a blast! Though I’ve been there since then, this stands out as one of my favorite trips.

Need a Vacation? Think Colorado!

Need a vacation? Yeah, me too! Normally when I think of vacation, I think of a beach, drinks, the ocean, drinks, a spa, and well more drinks. Right now though, I want something different! I’ve been thinking about Colorado lately! For all you vacationers looking for an off-the-beaten-path Colorado getaway with all the frills of a major resort should head to Crested Butte, an historic town tucked away in the Colorado Rockies Elk Mountain Range.

Brush Up On Your #Spa Etiquette

spaWhether you are heading to the spa for your first time or you have many spa visits under your belt, a quick reminder about spa etiquette may be in order. Using your best manners when you visit day spas or vacation resorts can make the stay much more enjoyable for you, the staff members, and other guests of the spa. In order to be on your very best behavior, you may want to call your spa beforehand to find out if they have any spa specials or discounts.

Phone Ahead If You Have A Preference Concerning Therapists

Most spas are more than happy to provide you with your preferred therapist. However, during the busiest hours, it can be hard to match you up with your favorite therapist, especially if many guests prefer that therapist. If you have a favorite, or simply want to specify a male or female therapist, then call ahead to schedule your time.

Be On Time

Really there are very few appointments that this good behavior doesn’t apply to. You don’t want to spend your vacation days waiting because other guests were late and you don’t want to be the guest that causes other clients to wait. Arriving on time gives you and the spa employee plenty of time and creates a much more relaxing atmosphere.
