See Loki (Okay, Really Tom Hiddleston) Take Over the World (with His Glowing Smile!) ~ #ThorsDay #ThorDarkWorldEvent

It’s no secret that Loki, from Thor and Marvel’s Avengers, wants to take over the world. Recently his actor counterpart, Tom Hiddleston, attempted to do just that! Tom recently headed out on an international tour in support of his latest film THOR: THE DARK WORLD.

He had one secret weapon up his sleeve though…. his glowing and exceptionally warm smile! No really… just take a look in all these photos below.
image007ThorRecently Tom hit Sydney, Australia to participate in a Popcorn Taxi Screening at Event Cinemas with fans. You bet he was all smiles! He also made an appearance at the Kinokuniya Bookstore for a photo call and signing. Was he smiling there? You bet!! He then jetted off to China for a photo call at the Capital M restaurant and a press conference at the Park Hyatt. It wasn’t too long after that stop Tom decided to take his smile over to Seoul, Korea, where he used his glowing weapon to win over the 7,000 fans at the Times Square event!

Will Loki Stay a Villian for #ThorDarkWorld? ~ #ThorDarkWorldEvent #ThorsDayEvery good super hero movie needs a villain! In the case of Thor and The Avengers, there was Loki played by Tom Hiddleston. Let’s face it, Tom played a villain quite well! Loki is the Trickster, aka the Master of Magic. Manipulation is his weapon and boy did he use that power to a tee in both films!

Plus did you see him “crash” the Thor: The Dark World panel at Comic-Con this year? The man’s mannerisms and the demand for the audience to “Say My Name!” show his nature as a sleek and sneaky villain.

When we last saw Loki in The Avengers, he was headed back to Asgard with Thor to face the penalties for his crimes. This is where it gets interesting though! Take a look at the clip below. I think it gives hints that Loki may be on his way to seeking redemption and acceptance from Thor and others, especially as they face an even greater villain! Then again… he IS the Trickster! So who really knows…

Ever have one of those bad days that are just so awful that you assume it will never get better? Yup, totally had one of those the other day. As some of you know, I’ve been super bummed about loved ones being deployed overseas very soon. I had one of those days where it was weighing heavily on my mind. It is those HEROES who I kept thinking about… until… an email from Disney popped up in my inbox discussing a different type of “hero”! Funny thing… the email came through while I was at work, and I’m pretty sure my co-workers were suddenly confused why I was shrieking with glee!

Next month I’m headed to Los Angeles to attend the THOR: THE DARK WORLD red carpet premiere, interview Loki aka Tom Hiddleston and Sif aka Jaimie Alexander,. How freaking awesome is that news? That’s not all though… I also get to see DELIVERY MAN and interview Chris Pratt and Vince Vaughn!! So now do you see why I so giddy with happiness? To say that the news made my day is an understatement. It totally made my year!! I cannot wait to attend the #ThorDarkWorldEvent and #DeliveryManEvent!

I’ll Be Hanging Out With Heroes Thanks to Disney, Marvel, & DreamWorks! ~ #ThorDarkWorldEvent #DeliveryManEventI feel myself getting all excited again as I even type this post! Okay, I promise to calm down so I don’t type complete gibberish from all my SQUEELING!

Now my son is also a HUGE Super Hero fan! I must admit, he loves Iron Man the best… but he was certainly excited to hear that his mom was heading to a super-hero themed event (as a 2 year old, he didn’t quite understand what I meant by red carpet). Every day he keeps asking “Momma, when you going to see super heroes?”

Marvel's THOR: THE DARK WORLD Ultimate Mentor Adventure ~ #Win a Trip to California! #ThorDarkWorldAs you can probably tell, we are HUGE Marvel fans around this blog. (Why yes, we will be watching Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D tonight). So we couldn’t be more excited to tell you about this awesome contest going on…

Marvel Studios, UL (Underwriters Laboratories), Dolby Laboratories, National Academy of Science, Girl Scouts USA and the El Capitan Theatre have all teamed up together to host Marvel’s THOR: THE DARK WORLD ULTIMATE MENTOR ADVENTURE!

The ADVENTURE is an amazing program geared towards high school aged girls in efforts for them to discover their potential in the world of STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, just like Jane Foster in the THOR movies. The finalists for the program will get to head to California for behind-the-scenes tours of the labatories, and more. Even more awesome… the whole trip will be filmed for the Ultimate Mentor Adventure documentary short! How cool is that?

I have to say, I enjoyed the show and am looking forward to checking out future episodes. If you were watching, you know us Marvel fans receive a special treat… the new TV spot “Return of an Avenger” for Marvel’s THOR: THE DARK WORLD!! Missed it? No worries!! Watch below:

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.
