Thor: The Dark World Premiere at the El Capitan Theatre! + Top 5 Reasons to See #ThorDarkWorld ~ #ThorDarkWorldEventLet me tell you how I’m still on Cloud 9! Thanks to the quite generous people of Disney and Marvel Entertainment, I recently attended the red carpet premiere of Thor: The Dark World this past Monday night. The #ThorDarkWorldEvent (I hope you were following the hashtag) was so surreal. I’m pretty sure I was pinching myself while I walked the red carpet to make sure I was really there. What an experience! Just the night before I had walked the red carpet for the Delivery Man premiere. When the time came to head to the Thor premiere, I was more than ready to re-live that red carpet magic that I experienced at Delivery Man! So once again, twenty-four other bloggers and I arrived on the Red Carpet at the El Capitan Theatre and eagerly awaited our turn to walk. The one word that keeps coming to mind when I think back at the moment of walking? AMAZING!

So let me chat first a little about the movie. Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the big-screen adventures of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy.  In the aftermath of the last Avengers film, Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. It is not long before Thor sets upon his most dangerous and personal journey yet, forced into an alliance with his not so trustworthy brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

Like the Delivery Man premiere, standing on the red carpet itself was a short moment. However, it was still quite surreal.  Luckily one of my bloggy friends was able to use my camera to snap my red carpet moment for me. With my Thor-inspired shoes, sparkly dress, and big blingy earrings (I’m sorry you can’t see them in the photo!), I was ready to go and pose:

What actually was really cool about the event was that inside on the big screen, the El Capitan was showing the live feed of red carpet coverage. From our seats we could watch the celebrity interviews that were going on just outside.

Not One, But Two Red Carpet Events? So Pumped For #DeliveryManEvent! + New Interviewee: Cobie Smulders!

Let me first off apologize on the lack of posts lately!! I’ve been beyond busy, and I promise you that things will kick up shortly. This weekend I leave on a super exciting trip. Once I return, I will have an over abundance of awesomeness to share with you!

The other night I learned the amazing news that not only will I attend the premiere for Thor: The Dark World, but also the premiere for Delivery Man, starring Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, and Cobie Smulders. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to Disney, Dreamworks, and Marvel for the opportunity to experience these two films.

Not One, But Two Red Carpet Events? So Pumped For #DeliveryManEvent! + New Interviewee: Cobie Smulders!Vince plays David, who is somewhat of an underachiever. He finds out he’s fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic in the past! Now due to a mix up, a number of them have filed a lawsuit to reveal his identity. While David struggles with the idea of whether to come forward or not, he decides to help each of them in their life.

Another piece of exciting news I received last night was that in addition to Tom Hiddleston and Jaime Alexander, we will be interviewing Zachary Levi, who took over the role of Fandral for this film! I’m just 10 days closer to heading to Los Angeles for the Premiere of THOR: THE DARK WORLD! I can’t even begin to put into words how excited I am. You know what made me even more excited? When photos from the London premiere of the film popped up in my inbox. I just couldn’t’ wait to share them all with you.

ThorCastNo seriously, how amazing does the cast look? If you enjoyed the first Thor, or the Avengers, I’m sure you will enjoy the sequel! I’ve been hearing good feedback from those who have already had a sneak peek at the film.

It’s hard to believe that in just 12 days I’ll be headed out to Los Angeles for the premiere of THOR: THE DARK WORLD!!! This movie is going to be amazing!
