Over the summer I discovered a campaign called The Wounded Walk. With this project, two former, Adam Shatarsky and Chris Senopole, honor their Brothers and Sisters in Arms by going on a fundraising walk. These two brave men are going on a walk across the nation to raise awareness and funds for the amazing Wounded Warrior Project. What an awesome way to pay homage!
The Walk began back on June 15th at Camp Pendleton. The men plan to cover roughly 2700 miles to our Nation’s Capitol (and my stomping ground) of Washington DC! Their target end date is October 1st 2013. That’s less than a month away (which is why I am posting!). I’m always more than happy to share any way that my readers and followers can help and assist those who fought/fight for our country. I could never say THANK YOU enough to all the brave men, women, and individuals who defend our nation’s honor.
I hope you take a moment to check out their Walk Across America for Wounded Warriors fundraising page! Your donations help fund their walk, while all remaining proceeds are donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Don’t forget… each donation comes at a different Reward Level! From shout-outs to t-shirts to stickers to videos and more, there is something awesome to earn at each level. So far they have raised $50,035 of their $100,000 goal.
Just remember… your donation helps out a great cause!
