Raise your hand if you still sing the catchy tunes from MOANA? *Raises hand* Yup! There are so many aspects of MOANA that I love: the adventure, the laughs, the great message… and the music! That is exactly why I’m beyond thrilled that Walt Disney Animation Studios is releasing an all-new sing-along version of the hit, critically-lauded comedy-adventure in theaters nationwide starting January 27!

One of my favorite animated films of 2016 has to be MOANA, hands down! We loved that this movie was packed with adventures, laughs, and a great message… but you know what else we loved? The music! If you haven’t seen MOANA yet, you are definitely missing out! One of our favorite number is Shiny, performed by Jemaine Clement (yes, that Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords fame).

While certainly one of the highlights of my time in Los Angeles back in August was attending the world premiere of PETE’S DRAGON. We spotted so many familiar faces. Though I have to say, certainly one stood out to us. Dawning a flowing bright yellow dress and a gorgeous flower that provided the right pop of pink, pinned up her hair, Auli’i Cravalho made her red carpet debut that night. While some may not be familiar with this new on the scene bubbly 15 year old, us Disney bloggers knew exactly who she was… the voice Moana in Walt Disney Animation’s upcoming adventure, MOANA!

Next month Walt Disney Animation’s latest adventure sails onto the bring screen… MOANA!! My family and I are so excited for this film. Even my “Marvel-loving Thinks Disney Princesses are Yucky” son is excited for this film. Probably because he thinks Maui (voiced by the Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson) is so cool LOL. But either way, he’s excited to see it with me! If you recall, I was able to screen some footage of the film while out in LA this summer. Chatting with the talent from the Animation department made my anticipation for this epic voyage of a film grow more and more.
