It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Mega Bloks in this household, as we feature them often here on MommaRambles.com! These blocks are perfect in size and shape for my toddler to create any building with that his little heart desires (and usually it is sky scrapers!). Now let’s just say that bath time has become such a blast thanks to Mega Bloks® First Builders™ Build ‘n Splash!
Build ‘n Splash is part of the Mega Bloks First Builders line, which is geared towards children ages 1 to 5. Lately my son has been “fighting” me on taking baths. He used to love bath time, but lately he hasn’t been a fan. His eyes absolutely lit up with delight when I pulled out the Mega Bloks. He excitedly told me he couldn’t wait to build something. I told him he could only use this set in the tub. He quickly ran off towards the bathroom pulling off his shirt declaring he wanted to a bath “right now!”. He absolutely had a blast building the tower in the tub and pouring water on it to make the animals spin!
Simplly use the red octopus which features a suction cup to stick to the bottom of the tub. From there, your child can stack all the “fishy friends” on top of it to create a fun waterfall! My son just loved pouring the water on the squid’s head and watching it fall to where the starfish spins, the shark dips and the fish catches the water! What is great about this First Builders set too is that it is compatible with other Mega Blok sets outside of the bath tub. The draining bucket can suction to the side of the tub and definitely comes in handy for storage!
