Since turning 30 (gasp!) this year, I’ve been more attentive to my skin care needs and on how to prevent wrinkles. I’ve been trying creams, serums, washes, lotions, etc. trying to find what works best with my skin and is effective. While it’s a game of trial and error, it has been fun discovering new products I normally wouldn’t have picked assuming I was “too young” to try.

Recently through Influenster I had the opportunity to test out Aveeno Positively Radiant Intensive Night Cream. Now I’m used many Aveeno products before. We are big fans of the brand in this household. I couldn’t be more excited to test out the cream!

The Many Uses of #Ivory Bar #Soap ~ @Influenster #MomVoxBox #Review ~ #pureivorybarsoap

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to test out and review the Ivory Soap through Influenster’s Mom VoxBox program. If you are a regular reader of this blog, you know I love my soaps! I was super excited to see Ivory included in the box.

What I was most impressed when reading about this soap before I opened the package was all the uses for Ivory. Normally I just use soap as body or facial cleansers.  An attractive aspect of the Ivory bar soap is that it is 99.44% pure. Ivory is free of harsh dyes and heavy perfumes. Made up of simple ingredients, Ivory still offers a great scent. While researching more on Ivory, I had no idea that I could use their soap as a stain remover for when I do laundry. I could also shave the soap and use the flakes in my laundry. I love the smell of Ivory so I’m sure it would give my laundry a nice aroma.

@Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies ~ @Influenster #MomVoxBox #Review ~ #quakersoftbaked

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to test out and review the Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies by Quaker through Influenster’s Mom VoxBox program. I’ve actually have one of their cookies before at an office party and was excited to try them again. If I remembered correctly, they were quite delicious! We’ve always been fans of Quaker often purchasing their oats and oatmeal, so I’m glad they released a cookie line too.

Of course once my son heard the noise of the wrapper, he immediately ran to come see what I was opening. I knew I would have to split the cookie in half and let him taste it was all. These Soft Baked cookies are the chewy and soft kind, which I love. They are packed with the same Quaker Oats flavor and the raising were quite plump and juicy. Honestly, they did taste homemade or straight from a bakery, not like they were bought at the store.
