Sadly in the past few days you may have heard about the horrific nine-alarm fire that occurred in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. Sadly, due to this tragedy, the Boston Firefighter Community is mourning the loss of Lt. Ed Walsh and Firefighter Mike Kennedy. Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy goes out to their families, Engine 33 / Ladder 15, the Boston Fire Department, and the City of Boston.

The Boston Firefighters Credit Union has established the Lieutenant Walsh – Firefighter Kennedy Memorial Fund to assist their families during this difficult time. Donations will be accepted by mail by sending a check to:
