With Winter coming to a close and Spring just around the corner, I decided to go through and re-organize my son’s wardrobe. With a fast-growing toddler, he is always out-growing clothes and I feel like I’m constantly purchasing him new apparel. I guess if I have to keep buying him new outfits, they may as well be at an affordable price! Luckily with Cookie’s Kids, not only do I find all the latest looks and trends in kids fashion, but their prices are super-friendly to my wallet!

The Mommy Mindset: Easter Traditions
Easter is almost here! Last year my son was just a couple weeks old if that. So technically I’m going to consider this his first Easter! While he still may not get the hang of an egg hunt, or the meaning of why we celebrate, I still want to make it special. The following is a conversation between some of my mom blogger friends and I discussing Easter traditions for our little ones!
Mariah: With Easter right around the corner, I have been thinking about the traditions that I want to start with W. Last year he was only 4 months old but we still went to spend the day with family and have a big family Easter Egg Hunt. We will do that again this year. I will also get out his personalized Easter basket and fill it with some goodies. I’m trying to decide how to handle decorating eggs with a toddler. What are your Easter traditions or some activities that you would like to do with your child this year?
Ghada: I’d like to do an Easter Egg hunt, we might just attend one at the local park. I also want to look at ways to explain Easter beyond chocolate eggs! My 4.5 year old is very aware of all the eggs everywhere – I’d like to be able to tell him something about the “real” reason behind Easter. Of course, it would have to be age appropriate…
Mariah: I definitely want to teach W about the meaning behind the holiday. I don’t know if I will start that this year but it is in my plans! This year I’m excited to see him run around the yard and pick up eggs!
Ashley: Growing up, my parents held an Easter Egg Hunt for us. I would love to continue that tradition with my family. My son will just turn 1 a few days before Easter, so I’m not sure a Hunt is in the cards this year. I personalized a basket for him, and every year he’ll receive it full of treats. We will continue to attend Easter service so he does grow up knowing the reason of why we celebrate Easter.
