The Walt Disney Studios has announced a U.S. release date of March 14, 2014, for Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie in the title role as Disney’s ultimate villain. The live-action film explores the origins of the evil fairy Maleficent and what led her to curse Princess Aurora in Disney’s animated classic Sleeping Beauty. Leading a team of visionary filmmakers known for creating and transporting audiences to new and exciting worlds, Academy Award®-winning production designer Robert Stromberg (Avatar, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful) will direct with a script by Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Alice in Wonderland). Maleficent is produced by Joe Roth (Disney’s Alice in Wonderland and Oz The Great and Powerful).
On April 7th, head to your local Disney Store (excluding outlets) to catch a special viewing of Tangled Ever After!
The Kingdom is in a festive mood as everyone gathers for the royal wedding of Princess Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Your favorite Tangled friends, Pascal and Maximus have a very important part in the ceremony, as flower chameleon and ring bearer. When they lose the gold wedding bands, a frenzied search and recovery mission begins! Will Maximus and Pascal save the day and make it to the church in time?

“Rise,” written and performed by McClain Sisters after being inspired by Disneynature’s feature film CHIMPANZEE, is the latest Disney Friends for Change anthem! “Rise” is the fourth Friends for Change anthem to be released with a benefit back to the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund. This contribution marks nearly $1 million awarded through the music campaign to charities working to protect the planet and conserve nature for future generations.
