I am so excited that LEGO STAR WARS: THE FREEMAKER ADVENTURES will premiere next week on Disney XD! I think the only person who is more excited than me is my son, who is all about any LEGO STAR WARS series LOL! This all-new animated television series will debut next week on June 20th at 10 AM EST! The action comedy series, set between the events of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RETURN OF THE JEDI, follows the Freemakers, a family of sibling scavengers who operate a salvage and repair shop in space.

Back in February, we told you how a new adventure, LEGO STAR WARS: THE FREEMAKER ADVENTURES, was coming to Disney XD! This all-new animated television series is now scheduled to debut this summer in the US on June 20th at 10 AM EST! What is even cooler, is that during the series’ premiere week, Disney XD will debut a new episode each day, beginning June 20 through June 23. The first episode will also be available via Video on Demand (VOD) and the Disney XD app! The fun-filled adventure comedy series will introduce all-new heroes and villains in exciting adventures with many familiar Star Wars characters.

TONIGHT March 30th the one hour season two finale of STAR WARS REBELS will air at 9 PM EST!! For those not familiar with the hit Disney XD series, STAR WARS REBELS is set between the events of Star Wars Episodes III and IV. The tale takes place during a dark time when the Galactic Empire is coming to power in the galaxy. While the Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, the motley crew of the starship Ghost are among the select few to take on the Empire and their evil ways. The crew includes cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the “muscle” Zeb, warrior firebrand Sabine, and cantankerous old astromech droid Chopper!
BIG HERO 6 Coming to Disney XD as an Animated Series!
If you a a fan of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award-winning BIG HERO 6, then you are in luck! Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer, Disney Channels Worldwide, announced today that the film inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, has begun production for a 2017 premiere on Disney XD. According to a recent press release, Emmy Award-winning producers Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley, creators and executive producers of the hit Disney Channel series KIM POSSIBLE, are the executive producers.

The series stars the Freemakers, a family of scavengers who build and sell starships from the scoured debris of space battles strewn throughout the galaxy. When their youngest discovers a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artifact – the Kyber Saber – his world is turned upside down, and he and his family are thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Throughout their adventures, the Freemakers explore new worlds, meet new and familiar characters, and learn the true value of what it means to be a family.
