Now I’m a girl who loves the beach. Summer time is absolutely perfect for warm days of laying in the sun on the sand. You know what I love even more than the beach though? Being on a beach with a cocktail in hand!
Daily’s Cocktails has recently introduced three new tropical flavors—Bahama Mama, Blue Hawaiian and Hurricane, which are joining the already popular tropical flavor, Piña Colada. That’s not all though… there are three new Light flavors – Light Pink Lemonade, Light Margarita and Light Mango Passion Fruit Daiquiri, which are joining the already popular Light Strawberry Margarita in the light line. How awesome is that?
My friend Tonya over at Random Mommy recently had the chance to try the new Daily’s for herself! Head on over to her blog and see what she thought of these brand new tropical cocktails.

When the weather is warm, one of my favorite little hobbies to do, is to mix a cocktail (or mocktail) to enjoy out on my balcony. Now my son has quickly become a Disney fan at his young age. Every day at some point I’ll see Jake and the Neverland Pirates or Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (or now even Henry Hugglemonster!) grace my television screen at some point. Seeing all the Disney promos reminds me of the characters from when I was kid… the princesses!! The idea of playing around and creating Disney princess inspired cocktails (and mocktails!) popped into my head.
One of my favorites was Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty! I think it might have been one of the first Disney movies I saw a child. Now if you didn’t know, aurora is Latin for “sunrise.” Immediately the citrus grapefruit Sunrise drinks popped into mind! Here is what I came up with:
I’ve included recipes for both a cocktail and mocktail version. Hosting a Girls Night In? Try the cocktail version!! Hosting a Disney Princess party for your little one? They might just love the mocktail version. Of course you may want to call it something like Princess Fancy Punch!
