I’m so excited that Disneynature’s BORN IN CHINA is now in theaters everywhere! The film just opened today and we can’t wait to go see it this weekend in honor of Earth Day. Do you know what’s really awesome though about this film’s release? You, the moviegoer, will help out the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)! Disneynature (via the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund) will make a contribution to WWF, based on opening week attendance (April 21 – 287) to help protect the wild pandas and snow leopard that you see in this film.

This film (narrated by John Krasinski) takes you on an epic journey into the wilds of China! You’ll experience the most extreme environments, where few people have ever ventured! BORN IN CHINA follows the stories of three animal families. You’ll meet a doting panda bear mother, who guides her growing baby as she begins to explore and seek independence. A two-year-old golden monkey who feels displaced by his new baby sister joins up with a group of free-spirited outcasts. And a mother snow leopard—an elusive animal rarely caught on camera—faces the very real drama of raising her two cubs in one of the harshest and most unforgiving environments on the planet.

It’s finally here! Today I present to you the amazing lineup for films by Walt Disney Studios for 2017. We are HUGE fans of Disney films in this household. 2016 gave us a TON of great movies… but we absolutely can’t wait to see all the films on this year’s slate. The crews of Guardians, Pirates, Rebels, Cars and Asgardians all return to the big screen… as well as new faces and re-imagining of familiar faces… 2017 is going to be an awesome year for movies!

John Krasinski Joins Disneynature’s BORN IN CHINA + Educator’s Guide & Activity Packet ~ #BornInChina

I’ve always been a fan of Disneynature films and the up close glimpse they give you into wild animals that I normally never come in contact with in person. Their latest film, BORN IN CHINA, is set to hit theaters April 21, 2017! This time Disneynature will take off in an epic journey deep into the wilds of China. What’s even more exciting about this film, is that actor John Krasinski (13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI) joins the Disney family and is the narrator of the film!
