New Poster for Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! ~ #BeautyAndTheBeast #BeOurGuest

How gorgeous is this poster? I knew as soon as I saw it I just had to rush and share it with you all! There are so many films I’m excited for next year…. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 (obviously), PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES, and of course, the live action of version of my favorite Disney animated classic, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Disney just unveiled the new poster above today! The film starts Emma Watson (HARRY POTTER Series) as Belle, and Dan Stevens (DOWNTON ABBEY) as the Beast. The ensemble of talented cast includes Luke Evans (Gaston), Kevin Kline (Maurice), Josh Gad (Le Fou), Ewan McGregor (Lumière), Stanley Tucci (Cadenza), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Plumette), Audra McDonald (Garderobe), Ian McKellen (Cogsworth) and Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts).

There are so many great film’s on Disney’s upcoming slate fore 2017… but one of the movies I’m most excited for is their live action version of my favorite Disney animated classic, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! Today I’m sharing with you brand new images from the film that are just STUNNING. Emma Watson (HARRY POTTER Series) plays Belle, while Dan Stevens (DOWNTON ABBEY) is the Beast. Directed by Bill Condon, I just love love LOVE that Disney has chosen to reimagine this tale “as old as time” and iconic characters to a new generation of audiences. Alright Disney Princess fans, this is the moment you’ve been waiting for! We’ve been chatting for awhile on the blog now about the 25th anniversary of the animated classic, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST fans!! I’m sure you probably already know that next week, September 6, Disney’s animated classic BEAUTY AND THE BEAST comes out of the vault for a limited time to celebrate the film’s 25th Anniversary with a special edition. Trust me, we will be chatting about that here on the blog next week… but today I wanted to share something extra special that ties together the animated classic, and the NEW live action version that comes out in March 2017. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST’s 25th Anniversay Edition will contain a bonus feature that gives you a sneak peek at the new film starring Emma Watson!

French Apple Tart: Inspired by BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! ~ #BeOurGuest

Twenty five years ago Disney released the animated classic BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, based on a French fairy tale of the same name by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont. That film quickly became my most favorite Disney movie (sorry Little Mermaid, you had two years in the top spot). Even after all the amazing films Disney Animation has released, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST still remains my top favorite. I was beyond ecstatic when Disney announced a live action version… And if you know anything about my blog, you know that I’m often inspired in the kitchen by upcoming films I’m excited see. So of course, I’ve been experimenting with French cuisine lately! (Like a french apple tart? Oui!)
