With winter here, in this household, we need warm, hearty dinners! Nothing is more filling and warms you right up than a good stew. One of my all time favorite French dishes is Beef Bourguignon… which is more than just your average beef stew. I always make mine in the slow cooker, and what really gets me while it simmers, is the pleasant savory aroma! And maybe the fact that I have red wine to enjoy while waiting. Check out my tutorial for Beast’s Beef Bourguignon, a recipe inspired by Disney’s upcoming live action romance classic BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, based on the French fairytale. This dish is absolutely perfect to cook for your favorite “Beast,” if he is a “meat and potatoes” kind of guy (or gal!). It’s a nice meal for “Date Night In!”
How stunningly beautiful is the new poster for Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! Seriously my jaw dropped as soon as I saw it. I’m absolutely giddy over this new live action version of the 1991 animated classic. I was a little girl during the time of the Disney Renaissance, and I still remember going to the theaters to see the animated version over and over again. I can’t wait to see how Disney portrays the much-loved characters with Alan Menken’s and Howard Ashman’s enchanting music in 2017. Emma Watson and Dan Stevens star as Belle and the Beast.
It’s finally here! Today I present to you the amazing lineup for films by Walt Disney Studios for 2017. We are HUGE fans of Disney films in this household. 2016 gave us a TON of great movies… but we absolutely can’t wait to see all the films on this year’s slate. The crews of Guardians, Pirates, Rebels, Cars and Asgardians all return to the big screen… as well as new faces and re-imagining of familiar faces… 2017 is going to be an awesome year for movies!
All this week I’ve been sharing with you exciting tidbits center around the upcoming Disney film, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. You’ve seen the new trailer, new still images, a new poster… and now I have a new recipe to share! Over the summer I shared with you my recipe for a French Apple Tart, inspired by the film. Today I give you the recipe to make eclairs! So what makes my version of this French pastry classic a little different? The filling is the famous “grey stuff” from the 1991 animated version of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST!
It’s here!! The new trailer for Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST went live earlier today. I’m so excited that we finally get a live action look at the characters, hear those familiar voices, and see the stunning images in motion. Seriously. How amazing is this film going to be??? BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is a live action interpretation of the 1991 Disney animated classic. It’s not just Belle and the Beast returning to the big screen… audiences will see the return of characters such as Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts as well!
