AOStitle2Last month I posted here on the blog that I was lucky enough to visit the set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! Hopefully by now you’ve read about my chat with the show’s talent Iain De Caestecker (“Leo Fitz”), Elizabeth Henstridge (“Jemma Simmons”), Brett Dalton (“Grant Ward”), Henry Simmons (“Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie”) and Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”). I also posted about my quick chat with Chloe Bennet (“Skye”) and the tour of the costume department with costume designer Anne Foley.

Today I’m sharing with you the last installment of my set visit! This will include our chat with Clark Gregg (“Agent Coulson”) and Ming-Na Wen (“Agent May”), as well as a chat with Executive Producers and show runners Jed Whedon and Jeff Bell. Oh but first thing’s first… guess who sat at the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s desk?

On the Set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Chatting with Chloe Bennet & Costumes with Anne Foley! ~ #ABCTVEvent #AgentsofSHIELD

AOStitleLast month I posted here on the blog that I was lucky enough to visit the set of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.! We had the privilege to sit down with Iain De Caestecker (“Leo Fitz”), Elizabeth Henstridge (“Jemma Simmons”), Brett Dalton (“Grant Ward”), Henry Simmons (“Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie”) and Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”). That wasn’t the only talent we met though! We encounter Chloe Bennet (“Skye”) and Anne Foley, the costume designer, while learning more about this show.

We were able to walk around set and see the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, the labs, the “hangout” room, the prison cell, as well as “The Bus.” The Bus is the team’s transportation which is actually based on the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III transport plane. I asked one of the publicists if the show had any Department of Defense/military consultants on the show for when creating sets to ensure accuracy. He replied yes, and that they also use consultants on tactical training for the actors. How cool is that?

Hopefully you’ve been following along on my most recent adventure in California! You may have noticed that one of those days, I went on a social media blackout for several hours. That’s right… No Instgramming, Tweeting, or Facebooking from this momma. During that time I was visiting the set of Marvel’s AGENTS OF SHIELD, which airs on ABC on Tuesday 9/8c.

We had the privilege to sit down with Iain De Caestecker (“Leo Fitz”), Elizabeth Henstridge (“Jemma Simmons”), Brett Dalton (“Grant Ward”), Henry Simmons (“Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie”) and Adrianne Palicki (“Bobbi Morse”). One thing I can say for sure is that the group has great chemistry.

Headed LA for #AvengersEvent and the #MonkeyKingdom Event at #LAZoo! ~ #Avengers #AgeOfUltron #Disneynature

So I think Boston must be my good luck charm for Disney related press trips! Last summer I was in Boston when I received an invite to attend the Guardians of the Galaxy Press Junket LA. A few weeks, as I was moments away from boarding a flight to Boston, when an email invite appeared in my inbox, inviting me to a press event for one of the movies I’m so excited to see in 2015… Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON!!!

#AVENGERSEvent High ResI feel bad for the people near me. I screamed. Like seriously screamed. Here I was, standing in the boarding line, screaming with pure happiness. Luckily I explained to them I was okay. My “happy shrieks” were a good thing. Disney and Marvel have definitely put together an amazing few days in Los Angeles for 24 other bloggers and I to attend press junkets and events in honor of upcoming films!
