Day 2: Where you’d like to be in 10 years
Ten years? Honestly I don’t think that far ahead. Though if I think about it…. I definitely would like have more financial security, but then again, who doesn’t? I struggle. While I’m lucky enough to have a job and own my own home, I still struggle. I’m a mom working both a full-time job, a part-time job, and then running this blog as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love running this blog and I love the people I work with at my part-time job. It was just incredibly hard to go from a two-income household, where I was not the breadwinner, to proving the sole income for my son and I.
Where else in 10 years? Well I’m not sure I’d like to be in Annapolis anymore. I’ve gone back and forth on whether to make the jump up to New England where my siblings live. I love Annapolis, it is a great historic town. There is always something to do. Though I’m just not sure I want to raise my son here. The school system is not the best, and I cannot afford the private schools around this town. I’m sure I would miss this town terribly though. Looks like we will have to wait and see…
