Last night was quite the exciting game between Clemson and Alabama! These two college football powerhouses were neck and neck in the beginning, before Clemson then took the lead and headed to victory. But I admit, that wasn’t the most thrilling part of the National Championship for me… That honor goes to the special look at another “power house”… CAPTAIN MARVEL!!
Last night during the CFP Championship, audiences were treated to a special look at Marvel Studios’ upcoming release. And wow was it AMAZING!
We saw Skrulls transforming, Captain Marvel in her binary form, summoning her power, and more shots of Carol Danvers in the iconic mohawk helmet, made famous by Kelly Sue DeConnick’s Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel comic book volumes.
After viewing the video many, many, many times in all my Marvel excitement, I think what I’m most anticipating is seeing how another STRONG female character will tie into AVENGERS: ENDGAME. In AVENGERS: INFINTY WAR, it’s no doubt that we saw women kick butt (I’ll even give props to Proxima Midnight and her fierceness). It’s no doubt that Carol Danvers is a strong character (being an Air Force pilot is no easy task!).
But from the trailer and footage we’ve seen so far, we just know that as Captain Marvel, she is going to be one of the most powerful heroes (and I’m not just talking female heroes) in the universe!
In case you missed it last night, watch below!
Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ CAPTAIN MARVEL is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
