Today’s topic is “something you need daily”. Well if you follow me on Facebook, you probably think my answer would be coffee! Okay, yes, I probably do need coffee daily. However, what I really NEED is family! After a long day in the office, this is the face I get to come home to. Nothing beats swooping him up in my arms for a big hug. His happy belly laughs and huge grins when he sees my face just absolutely melt my heart. At this age, I thought I’d be sipping a beer in a pub in Dublin, maxing out my credit card shopping in London, zip-lining in Brazil, and photographing lions in Africa. I didn’t think I’d be at home singing Itsy Bitsy Spider, watching the Sunny Side Up Show, and helping push along a Little People wagon. This is my life now. I’m a mom, and you know what? I realize now I wouldn’t have it any other way. My son is my sunshine, and we all know you need a daily dose of the sun!
What about you? What do you need daily?
I agree! I need my daily fix of mommy/daughter time. This past month I’ve had to take 2 overnight trips without her and I missed her so much!
Family and chocolate :)
What a cutie you have!!! He definitely would brighten any day!
Thanks for stopping by Carrigan’s Joy!
Family and the internet lol
Oh my goodness, what a joy it must be to come home to such an adorable cutie! No one could resist smiling when seeing him, he looks oh so happy!
I agree! I may want many things daily but I need family! And water lol, I drink so much water & I’m still constantly thirsty.
He’s adorable! I agree though, no matter how rough my day is, coming home to my 6 year old who yells “YAY! Mommy’s home” and runs to give me a hug makes everything better.
Hahahaha! Look at that happy face! Beautiful!
I need to see my son daily. His smile just brightens my day!
