Who is ready for the Big Game? I know I am! I’ve been busy prepping the recipes and stocking up on snacks for Game Day. Some of my favorites include my favorite candies like SNICKERS® and Skittles®, as well as TOSTITOS® chips and salsa! Of course my refrigerator is filled with Pepsi™ for my guests to enjoy as well when they need a refresh.
I absolutely LOVE chocolate! So making sweet treats using my favorite candy, SNICKERS®, is always a must when entertaining. Check out these tutorials below for two of my favorite SNICKERS® recipes…
SNICKERS® Rocky Road Brownies
25 SNICKERS® Minis
1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
1/4 cup of butter, melted
1 package of fudge brownie mix (at least 18 oz)
2/3 cup of vegetable oil
1/4 cup of water
1 cup of mini marshmallows
First let’s make the crust. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and butter. Mix well and press the crust mixture into a greased pan. I prefer to use an 8 inch or 9 inch square pan. Drizzle a little bit of caramel sauce on top.
Combine brownie mix with the water, oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. One the brownies are mixed well, add in most of the SNICKERS® Minis and a small handful of mini marshmallows. Gently mix those ingredients together until well blended. Poor the mix on top of the crust in your pan.
Adjust your oven to the BROIL setting. Mine is at 500 degrees. Place your pan into the oven, but make sure you watch the marshmallows through the glass. You’ll watch them start to puff and brown at the top due to the heat. Pull out the pan before the marshmallows burn! You just want them slightly scorched and gooey.
17 SNICKERS® Minis
8 oz of cream cheese, softened
1⁄4 cup of brown sugar, packed
8 ounces of marshmallow fluff
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 teaspoon of caramel sauce
First let’s take the SNICKERS® Minis and cut them into fourths or sixths. Set them aside for now. Then mix the cream cheese and brown sugar until it is fluffy and well blended. Then stir in the marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, and caramel sauce. Add in most of the SNICKERS® pieces into the mixture. Save a few for garnish later.
Use an electric mixer to really mix the SNICKERS® into the dip! When the mixer strikes the candy pieces, you should see little bits of chocolate blending well into the dip. Once it is all well blended, spoon the dip out into a serving dish. FYI… if you have the time, place the dish into the refrigerator overnight to let the flavors really soak in. No worries if you don’t have time to do so!
I absolutely love that I was able to purchase everything I needed for these two recipes at my local Walmart, for great low prices. I found SNICKERS® right in the candy aisle, along with the Skittles®. Pepsi™ is in the Soft Drink aisle, while TOSTITOS® products are with the Chips and Snacks!
With all these great products, you can cover both savory and sweet snacks for the Big Game. Plus Pepsi™ is such a cool refreshing drink to enjoy with any fun snack idea you choose to serve at your party.
So what are you waiting for? Head on over to Walmart to grab all of your ingredients for this recipe and don’t forget to enter the sweepstakes I mentioned above for a chance to win a $100 Walmart eGift card or Xbox One!
