Earlier this month, our family saw SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE at our local movie theater. My son really enjoyed the film! It has a great positive message on friendship and self-discovery. Thanks to Sony Pictures Animation, we were celebrating all things Smurfs that weekend. Entenmann’s® Little Bites® is joining in the ‘Smurftastic’ fun as well, as they are offering $5.00 off a movie ticket to see the movie with the purchase of two 5 count, one 10 count, or one 20 count specially marked Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Smurf Blueberry Muffins packages!!
If you love the Smurfs, you’ll definitely want to pick up Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Smurf Blueberry Muffins! They are the perfect Smurf-approved baked snacks. Moist and made with real blueberries, these muffins contain no high fructose corn syrup, no trans-fat and are certified Kosher.
At less than 200 calories per pouch, Entenmann’s® Little Bites® are the perfect family snack to enjoy at home or on-the-go! My son always enjoys them while he enjoys some creative time out on our balcony.
If your child loves to color as much as mine, then they will be pleasantly surprised to find out that each specially marked box offers a fun Smurfs coloring cut out for kids!
Now we certainly enjoy Little Bites® as they are… but did you know they also make a great ingredient in bread pudding? In honor of SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE, we recently used Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Smurf Blueberry Muffins to make ‘Smurfberry’ Bread Pudding! We are going to use blueberries as the “smurfberries” in this treat. Check out the recipe below…
Smurfberry Bread Pudding
4 cups of Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Smurf Blueberry Muffins
3 eggs
1 and 1/4 cups of milk
6 oz of fresh blueberries
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of melted butter
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Take the muffins and either cut them up into smaller bits of crumble them. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs lightly, and then add in the milk and vanilla extract to the mixture. Add in the crumbled cake. Then gently fold into the cake mixture your blueberries.
Pour the cake mixture into a smaller casserole sized baking dish. Usually a one quart size dish works fine. Then pour the melted butter over the cake mixture. Bake in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes so that the top is firm.
Once that is done… serve and enjoy your Smurfberry Bread Pudding!

I would enjoy these little bites as a nice addition to my yogurt for breakfast.
We really love the snickerdoodle little bites, however, after seeing this, I think I will get the blueberry ones and try out this recipe. I never thought of using them like this and I am sure my daughter would love it. Other than trying this out, we would just eat them straight out of the little bags.
I’d enjoy Snickerdoodle little bites for breakfast.
