As an NCircle iNSider, I was super excited when Sid the Science Kid: The Movie, arrived at my door step last week! This is a television program my son regular watches on PBS so I knew he would enjoy a film version.
In this tale, Sid and his classmates win a trip to the new science museum, The Super Ultimate Science Museum, before it open ups to the public! The fun part? Specially designed robots, invented by the founder Dr. Bonabodon (voiced by Christopher Lloyd) will be their tour guides My son loves robots so he lit up when they appeared on screen. It’s not long before one of the robots, Bobbybot, takes them on a crazy adventure throughout the museum and beyond! Now it is up to Sid and his friends to help find the robot and make sure the Grand Opening of the museum happens in time.
My Thoughts on Sid the Science Kid
One of my son’s favorite aspects of Sid programming is the music, rapping, and dancing. His favorite part of Sid the Science Kid: The Movie was probably when they were doing the Jupiter walk. He just loved imitating what they were doing onscreen! I’m a big fan of any movies that get my son up and active rather than just sitting in his chair.
If your children enjoy science, robots, or dinosaurs, this is definitely a movie for them. Sid the Science Kid is always so much fun, and makes learning science an absolute blast.
My son was so excited about Sid, he decided to read up on the other awesome offerings by NCircle Entertainment!
