You know what I always loved about my dogs? How gentle, kind, and loving they are! It’s like they just know when you had a tough day. Our bigger dog Fred, we actually considered having him train as therapy dog for a local convalescent center. Unfortunately timing and scheduling did not work out for this to happen. However, I know in my heart that these dogs are amazing companions to my family.
There are even studies out there that report that a relationship with a dog can improve one’s quality of life, especially for people in need. Dogs are capable of lowering stress, anxiety and even blood pressure. I know for my ex, our dogs were the calming effect for him after a long stressful day at work. His job back then wasn’t an easy one. Most of the time he brought those “work troubles” home. Sometimes it is just hard to shake that off. Curling up on the couch with the dogs was the perfect way for him to relieve stress and start to feel better. These two dogs gave us so much unconditional love, how could they not be part of our family?
Shared a Story and Share the Love
Recently, and I’ve talked about a few times on here, Cesar Canine Cuisine created the Share a Story and Share the Love initiative, campaigns to help support and spotlight therapy dog organizations. Their efforts to raise awareness helps to ensure people in need continue to receive the powerful benefits of a dog’s unconditional love.
The Share a Story and Share the Love campaign encourages dog lovers like us to share our beautiful stories of therapy dogs through their social media communities such as Facebook and Twitter. You share photos and post videos of our dog comforting you or others! Cesar will then make generous donations to three therapy dog organizations, so that they can then continue to offer the services they provide to people in need!
How to Get Involved
So now you may be wondering how you can get involved in the Share a Story and Share the Love campaign. Simply visit http://www.cesar.com/therapydogs to witness real life stories of amazing therapy dogs who do their best to spread joy and their love around the world. You can then share those wonderful stories through your social media accounts. Just remember that by sharing, you are helping Cesar continue to donate to the therapy dog organizations. Just make sure you use the hashtag #SharetheLove.
I wrote this review while participating in an ambassador program by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cesar and received product samples and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

How cute! This is the first I have ever heard of this campaign, but what a great, sweet idea!
we SO miss our dog Charlie. He passed away recently and is greatly missed. This is such a sweet campaign, thanks for sharing!
I don’t know what I (or my children!) would do without our Lola- she is truly a member of our family. I think this is great! Thanks for sharing this campaign!
I love that you are involved with this. I was born a crazy dog lover and since my daughter moved away with our last dog I have been very sad not having one around but my husband does not care for pets and refuses to have one…it is a very difficult place to be … dogs really do make a tremendous difference in a person’s life in positive ways. I am so glad to know that Cesar is so generous in supporting therapy dogs. Our dog Lilly that moved away LOVES Cesar dog food…I am glad that my daughter is buying food that supports such a good company.
Therapy dogs/animals really can and do make a huge difference. Thank you for sharing about this campaign!
My dog has seriously softened me LOL and taught me patience haa This post is so cute, thank you!
