As part of the SocialFabric network, I’ve teamed up with my fellow bloggers to give our readers recommendations for romantic restaurants in each of our hometowns. I’m sure you’ve probably caught on by now that my hometown is Annapolis, the capital of Maryland. Now I recently just posted my Dining Guide for Valentine’s Day in Annapolis. However, if you are looking for just the romantic spots for you and your significant other, make sure you keep reading below…
Romantic Restaurants for Dining with Significant Other
Chart House – When I want seafood, I head to the Chart House. Now I know this restaurant isn’t unique to Annapolis, but the water view looking back at the City Dock is unforgettable! Every day they have fresh fish specialties, and the menu is unique to Annapolis’ local flavors.

Lewnes’ Steakhouse – If I could pick one spot in Annapolis to have a romantic dinner for Valentine’s Day, I’d pick Lewnes’ hands down. This homegrown steakhouse has the feel of a speak-easy with its comfy booths. Steaks are delicious, portions are large, and the wine list is extensive. Make a reservation though! A walk-in on a Saturday night usually means a 2 hour wait this place is that popular.

Osteria 177 – When I want a nice sit down Italian meal, I head here! Offering a wide selection of Italian coastal specialties, Osteria 177 will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu this year. Plus, since sometimes it can be hard to find parking downtown, the restaurant will offer complementary valet service, and there will also be a live piano player in the restaurant.

Sam’s on the Waterfront – Sam’s is one of my favorite date spots, not only because of the water view, but because of their use of fresh and local ingredients to create a creative dining experience. As stated on their Facebook page, “Sam’s is committed to being environmentally responsible & striving to purchase and promote fresh, local, sustainable products wherever possible.” In the the past they offer a special Valentine’s Day menu.

The Severn Inn – Another great water view! The Severn Inn is nestled under the Naval Academy Bridge with a view looking back at downtown of the city. Gorgeous panoramic view. I however go mostly for the delicious and creative cocktails!

I love Annapolis. My husband bought his sailboat at the boat show there many moons ago. When we lived in NJ we’d go down for weekends all the time. We loved a small restaurant – I doubt it’s still there. I can’t remember the name – this was 20some years ago. Gah. Don’t get old.

I’d love to visit Sam’s. That looks like a great place to visit, and I do love to be near the water.

Husband and I don’t get out very often but it is so nice when you can escape the kids for a few hours and have a romantic dinner. Those photos are inspiring!
