Being a busy working mom, I need a quick and easy breakfast in the morning. I’ve been a fan of Quaker® Real Medleys® since they hit shelves. This is why I’m super excited that Quaker® has introduced new products as part of their Real Medleys line. This time Quaker is delivering delicious granola and yogurt blends. Yes these are the first shelf-stable convergence of granola, fruit and yogurt – all in a single serve cup!
I love that these Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups are so quick to make. You’ll have a delicious granola and yogurt blend in under 3 minutes. I love that these cups are satisfying with 25 grams of whole grains and 10 grams of protein with 1/2 cup of cold Skim Milk. Best way to describe them? Crunchy. Cool. Yum. Plus they come in a variety of amazing flavors include Strawberry Almond, Apple Cinnamon, and Raspberry Pecan.
You can find Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups at your local Walmart. Head right over to the “Cereal” aisle! Look for them in the section where cold or ready to eat cereal is displayed.
As I mentioned above, a reason I love Real Medleys is because how quick and easy they are to prepare. First pick which Real Medleys® you wish to enjoy. Pull off the lid and pour COLD milk into the cup, up to the dark line in the interior of the cup.Once that is done, stir the contents well! Make sure the milk is really mixed in, and covering all the bits of granola. Once that is done, cover the cup back up with the lid, and let it sit for 2 minutes. Once it sits a bit, then it is done and ready for you to enjoy. Yes, it’s that simple. Just add cold milk, stir, and eat!On weekends however, I can usually sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. Since Real Medleys® is a delicious blend of yogurt and multigrain granola with real fruit and crunchy nuts, it makes for a delicious breakfast. It also makes a great accompaniment to one of my favorite breakfast dishes… Monkey Bread Egg Bake! I love that I can prep this Egg Bake the night before, and when I wake up in the morning, I can just pop it in the oven to then enjoy with my Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups.
I’ve included an easy tutorial below for you…
Monkey Bread Egg Bake
Ingredients
6 eggs
1/3 cup milk
2 cans (8 oz) of seamless sheet of crescent dough
1.5 cups of diced cooked bacon (or cooked ham)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup of cut fresh spinach
1 cups of diced tomatoes
Directions
Remember that this is an OVERNIGHT bake. Can you make and bake it the morning of? Of course. However, the dish works and tastes best if you create it the day before you bake it.The first thing you want to do it spray your bake ware dish with cooking spray. Set that aside as you get your 2 cans of dough. With each one, unroll the dough into a large rectangle. I usually just place it right on a cookie sheet. Proceed to slice the dough into 3 rows one way, and 8 rows another way. This will make 48 pieces of dough total. Take each piece and roll it into a ball. Set aside the dough. Then in large bowl, mix your eggs and milk with wire whisk until smooth.Once your egg mixture is whisked well, add in your dough pieces. Then gently add in your spinach, tomatoes, bacon, and most of the cheese.Very gently stir all the ingredients together. Make sure the ingredients combine together. Then spoon out the dough pieces into a single layer into your bake ware. Depending how big or small your bake ware is, you may have egg mixture leftover. It’s up to you if you pour that into the dish. If you do, please cook the Egg Bake a bit longer than I recommend. Add the rest of your cheddar cheese on top of the dish.Preheat your over to 350 degrees and cook the Egg Bake anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes to ensure the egg is baked all the way through. I cooked mine for an hour, but I did pour in the excess egg mixture into my dish.
Once the Monkey Bread Egg Bake is golden brown and finished baking, scoop out with a large spoon and serve! The eggs pair perfectly with the yogurt cups.
