Getting Out of Bed… and Re-Entering the World

The next few weeks you may find yourself wanting to stay in bed and you maybe tormenting yourself with thoughts of why can’t I go back to my “normal” way of life. Cut yourself some slack and stop being so hard on yourself. Losing a baby is heart wrenching. Take one day at a time and some days take one minute at a time. Set little goals for yourself, instead of staying in bed, go out into the living room, read, watch TV, sit in silence and mourn. Sitting in silence can be painful, but will help you with your grief. Believe it or not, it will allow the tears to flow and a much needed cry does wonders…
