Paperly with Kate Cahouet ~ Personalized Gifts and Stationery ~ #Review & #Giveaway

When I first started chatting with Kate Cahouet, I’ll admit, I had never really paid much attention to Paperly. I’ve heard the name before, but in my little chaotic world, I had taken the time to see what they really had to offer. Kate is a local Marylander, based in the Baltimore, who his an independent consultant for Paperly. As soon as I started thumbing through the Spring 2012 Catalog, I was kicking myself over and over again for not discovering Paperly sooner! Paperly is a fabulous company that offers personalized stationery, memo pads, invitations, gift stickers, clipboards, coasters and much more! As I thumb through, I couldn’t help but think of what I would give to others, and what I would buy for myself! So many colorful fun designs to pick from, this was going to be hard picking an item out.

There were just too many items I had fallen in love! I love the various stationary patterns and options. The iPhone cases are adorable. Gift tag options made me wish Christmas was sooner. There were so many great gifts to choose from. I especially liked the idea of as a “Teacher Gift” purchasing the matching paper, clip board and water bottle. How cute!

Kate generously sent me a customized place mat and plate so I could examine the creativity and quality of Paperly for myself! With the place mats, they are double sided so that you can choose two designs! While they do have more grown up and mature designs, I went with two of the children’s designs for my son. I love the personalized touch of being able to add your child’s (or the special little one in your life) name.

The place mats are quite durable and even my little tornado of a son couldn’t destroy them. They did a beyond awesome job of protecting my wooden dining room table during meal time and when he would “color” on paper. The bright designs are also quite impressive. While he was waiting for his meal (or afterward), we would play games and point to the various sports balls or jungle animals. Right now we are practicing letter sounds. We make the hissing “S” sound and he immediately points to the snake!

We ordered a plate to the match the “Sports Theme” side of the place mat. The plate is of a nice size and fits his meals quite nicely. Again, I can not stress enough how durable the plate is! It’s nice to have a great quality plate that won’t break either. He seems almost disappointed when I present his meals or snacks on any other plate than “HIS” plate!

Personally I think a place mat and plate make for a great birthday gift! What a cute set!
