Okay, I’ll admit, as a busy working mom, I’m not exactly the most organized in the morning. I’ve been known to just throw my lunch together in a bag, and run out the door. The containers are perfect for keeping your sandwich, meal components, and snacks all separate, but in a compact bundle to take with you on the go.
Rubbermaid generously sent me the LunchBlox Sandwich Kit to test out for myself. This kit is made up of a 2.6 cup sandwich container, a 1.2 cup side container, and two 0.5 cup snack containers. Additionally, there is a specially designed Blue Ice™ pack that works with LunchBlox containers to keep lunches chilled on the go.
I absolutely love that the containers all snap together to stay in one pack and save space in my lunch bag. The ice pack worked great in keeping my food, like fruit, cool while on the go. You can either place the ice pack on the bottom of the sandwich container or in the middle between that container and the smaller ones.
Like I said above, I’m a busy mom! So anything that is quick and easy to clean is good in my book. I love that the LunchBlox is not only microwave and freezer safe, but dishwasher safe too! Major bonus points to Rubbermaid for creating a product that is BPA-free, PVC-free, and phthalate-free.
On a diet? The containers are great for portion control! Aside from the sandwich container, the smallest ones are perfect for nuts, yogurt, or seeds. The snack container is great to hold various fruits or vegetables.

Overall, I’ve been super happy with the LunchBlox kit as my new way to organize and transport my lunch. The lids stay tightly on and every fits great together in a compact block. It not only saves me money, but saves space in my work bag!

This is a great way to organize lunches! Plus, the containers are really cute! I love that the sandwich one is actually the right size and shape for a sandwich. I’ve seen others that I had to mush the thing into!
