Sports is a huge part of my life. It always has been and always will be. I grew up playing a variety sports, and cheering on DC’s Capitals and Warthogs. Every Sunday in my household we wear burgundy and gold, even if the Redskins aren’t playing. Each morning you will find me checking the AL East standings to see, and now clicking over to that Wild Card tab as well. Like I said, sports is a huge part of my life.
In less than 2 weeks I’ll be running my first 5K in a very very very long time. As in, I’m pretty sure its been 10 years since I’ve run that far and timed it. Chances are I’ll end up jogging parts of it. That’s fine though. The important part is that I finish, right? I can walk 3 miles no problem in less than a hour. So I’m sure I can finish a 5k running/jogging in less than the allowed 1.5 hours.
However, sometimes we still need a little inspiration, whether on the field, diamond, court, or even in our lives outside of sports. I have to say, I’m digging the new Nike Just Do It “Possibilities” ad. If you haven’t seen it yet, take a look!
…and yes, that’s Bradley Cooper narrating.
When you need motivation, where do you find your inspiration?
I was not financially compensated by Nike for this posting. All opinions are my own.

Good luck with your 5K. I remember when I did my first one 3 years ago and had not really run since high school.

Good luck on the 5K, I bet you will surprise yourself and run more of it than you think :) Inspiration for me comes from alot of different places – usually I just want to prove the voices in my head wrong LOL
