Today my sister is coming to visit! She lives up in New England, but has been in Ontario, Canada, for quite some time on business. Her firm put her up in a rental, which she loved….at first. I can tell by now she is ready to come home! Or well, at least to my sofa until she makes her way back up north.
Unfortunately, only a few days into her stay did she discover her flaking ceiling. Remember those old popcorn texture ceilings? We had one in our basement growing up. I thought it was the coolest thing! Not so much anymore. Apparently when the train goes by, flakes would fall from the ceiling. Every day after work, my sister would spend an hour crawling around the floor picking up each and every flake. Yes, she is one of those OCD clean types. After a few days of hearing her complain, I told her she should get get a vacuum cleaner! Why spend an hour when she could spend just a few minutes with a vacuum that would suck those little flakes right up?
Lucky for her, there are stores like Sears in Canada. She made her way to Sears.ca and bought herself a shiny new Kenmore Intuition! So new routine for her: work all day, vacuum, relax. So now she is returning Stateside today. She and her new trusty vacuum. Usually when she comes to visit, she likes to clean and reorganize my living space. She always redesigns my closet. I have a feeling though, on this trip, she will want nothing to do with cleaning, and all about the relaxing!
So I want to make this weekend relaxing as I can for my overworked little sister. When you have a weekend away, what is the most relaxing thing you like to do?
