A Positive Outlook – What I Love About Myself
So often in life I always focus on what I don’t like about myself, which really causes nothing but negativity. Every time I look in the mirror, I need to stop dwelling on what I dislike about my body. It’s a process, but I’m learning. This month I tried really hard to look in the mirror and take notice of what I LOVE about myself. I talked a little more about this in my monthly video.
I sat down and started to list of what I do like about myself. I soon realized that most of the features, characteristics, and aspects about myself were all personality related. So redo! Looking in the mirror, I picked out what I like: my eyes, my smile, and my hair.
During the last 3 months, I’ve meet some pretty amazing women thanks to Shaklee 180™. We all share the common bond of going on this health and weight loss journey together. We are making a change about something we don’t like about ourselves. This month though, we thought lot about the positive and often discussed with one another what we love about ourselves… and I have to say it felt good! What a great way to celebrate one another, our achievements, and our goals.
If you are going on a similar transformation, I want you to take a moment to just pause. Stop and think about what you LOVE about yourself. Don’t look at the negative… think positively. Now you may be thinking I’m acting a little cheesy right now, but just remember you ARE BEAUTIFUL!
May Shaklee 180™ Results
So let’s talk numbers now! So how did I do for May on Shaklee 180™? Here are my stats for 5/30/2013:
Weight: 186 lbs.
So examining my numbers, for the month of May I achieved a 9 lb loss! Since my goal every month is at least 8 lbs, I am beyond thrilled that I accomplished that goal and beyond! Now last month I was kind of bummed that I only lost 3 inches on my body. When I took my measurements this morning, I was super excited (and still am!) that I lost a total of 7 inches off my body!! It’s safe to say that I’m quite happy with how May turned out.
Weight loss of 27 lbs.
Inch loss of 16.5″
So looking into June I’m feeling good. I’ve met my monthly goal for March, April, and May! I plan to continue on the Shaklee 180™ Turnaround Kit since I haven’t reached my ultimate weight loss goal yet. Frankly, I might not even achieve it in a healthy manner by September. However, I feel like I’m loosing as a steady and successful rate thanks to Shaklee. While I may not be ready to step back into a bikini next month, doesn’t mean I won’t this summer. Again, here comes the thinking positively!
Wish me luck going into June and hopefully I’ll have big numbers in loss to report!
