Yesssssssss! FINALLY! One of my favorite Marvel movies of all times is GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY! I’m so excited to tell you today that Marvel Studios has begun production on the sequel GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2!!!
Now there isn’t too much detail on the plot line as of now. I still remember participating in an interview with Chris Pratt for DELIVERY MAN where he hint about the film, but didn’t give too much away. He just said it would be awesome… and of course it was!
This time around the gang sets out on a new adventure as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Guess who recently joined the cast for #GotGVol2? Kurt Russell!! Think he’s playing Star Lord’s dad? No confirmation yet, but that seems to be the popular theory to which character he will portray.
The original GUARDIANS was an absolute hit not only with the critics, but with fans as well! A whole new generation was able to discover this not as well known comic (as compared to the Avengers). Even my four year old is a huge fan! He loves his “talking” Star Lord action figure and to this day, I still hear my son mutter phrases about being in a “band of outlaws.” GUARDIANS earned over $770 million at the worldwide box-office! It holds the record as the most successful debut film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

To be honest, I have not seen Guardians of the Galaxy. My hubby did, and he really liked it, so he will probably want to see this one.
oooooohhhhhhhh boy there will be some very special people in my house who are going to be VERY EXCITED!!! My husband and sonny boy really loved the first movie. I’m sure they will be first in line=thanks for the heads up
I am more into documentaries but my husband likes action and sci-fi movies so I will have to let him know about this.
