I’m so excited that so many awesome looking movies are hitting the big screen this summer. One particular interesting film I can’t wait to learn more about is KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS! If you are a fan of films such as CORALINE, PARANORMAN, and THE BOXTROLLS, you’ll definitely want to check out this epic adventure when it arrives in theaters on August 19!
The tale centers around Kubo, who lives a quiet, normal life in a small village by the sea. One day a spirit from the past turns his life upside down by re-igniting an age-old vendetta! Havoc unfolds as monsters then chase after Kubo who, in order to survive, must locate a magical suit of armor of a legendary Samurai warrior… who just happens to be Kubo’s later father.
Check out the beautiful Mother’s Day gift I received the the folks behind the film… I actually have the “flower” in a vase displayed in my dining room. I’m always eager to tell guests who inquire about the origami flower all about KUBO!
