So we’ve reached the age where my son wants a little “friend” for when I put him down for bed. He usually does just fine with his blanket and a little stuff dog that he loves. However, I often find myself having to turn on his aquarium as he drifts to sleep so he is not in total darkness. It gives him that soft glow so he can still see around his room. When I saw KinderGlo portable night lights, I immediately fell in love with the concept! Not only would my son have something to hug and hold at night, but also provide that little bit of light he needs as he falls asleep.
Never hot to touch, KinderGlo LED night lights bathe a room in soft light, easing even the most fretful kids into a good night’s sleep and guarding them through the dark. Our small soothing pals are perfect to be built into the daily bedtime routine and provide extra comfort for your children, who can safely keep their little friends in their bed all night.
KinderGlo generously sent me their Bear Night Light. This is just one of the many fun characters offered! Their selection also includes an Elephant, Brontosaurus, Quarter Moon, Tyrannosaurus, Angel, Moose, and Hippo. Each night light also comes with a charging base, AC adapter with cable, and a helpful set-up guide.
Each night light character is BPA and lead free, while made of non toxic materials. They are quite soft, yet durable. One main reason I love the KinderGlo light over your ordinary night light is that it doesn’t get hot. Using an LED light, the character is absolutely safe for your little one’s touch. They will never be at risk for burns as with regular light bulbs. Additionally, since we keep outlets covered, never had to worry about the little man going over and pull the light out of the socket and risking hurting himself. I can keep the light safely on top of his dresser (using the outlet behind it, so that he can’t reach it) or just give him the light to cuddle with in bed.
I like that the charger will power the night light for up to 10 hours. You also have the option to just leave the character in the charging base. A great aspect about the base is that it is interchangeable with other KinderGlo characters.
There is a button on the bottom that allows you to turn the light off, leave it on all night, or let it rotate colors. If your child prefers the light to stay on just one color, they have the option of red, green, or blue. There is also a setting where the light will automatically shut off in 30 minutes. This setting was perfect for my son, as then the night light didn’t have to stay on all night and could save its charge.
