Last weekend, the much anticipated ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, made its theater debut! Audiences flocked to see the film as it pulled in $290 million globally ($155 million domestically). What a success! For those who haven’t seen it yet, have no fear. This was only the opening weekend!
Taking place before Episode IV: A NEW HOPE, ROGUE ONE centers around Jyn Erso and a group of unlikely heroes to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This movie is definitely a must-see for any STAR WARS fan! Trust me, you don’t want to miss it. And it is definitely an action-packed film perfect for the big screen.
The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, and Forest Whitaker. The film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur, and Simon Emanuel, executive produced by John Knoll and Jason McGatlin, and co-produced by John Swartz and Kiri Hart.
