The Cat
The cat won beating out the diamond ring, guitar, robot, and helicopter. However, if you were a fan of the original iron, this isn’t your lucky day. The cat will be replacing the iron as the new token. The boot and wheelbarrow were close to retirement too, but it was the iron who well, got the boot (pun intended).

I love the new cat token! I think it’ll get more kids interested in playing (well at least my daughter who is in LOVE with cats!)

Man, I find it kindof horrible that they mess with the classic pieces! I loved the iron! Ah, well, most kids today probably dont know what an iron or a wheelbarrow is!
I love that game companies want to engage their supporters. Especially since video games are all the craze now! I would love to see a special edition family night that comes with a menu and a link to post pictures of your family game nights. We haven’t hosted a game night in a while, but over the summer we played games after dinner 3 or 4 times a week. I won’t miss the iron, no one ever chose that. But to be honest, we have the Star Wars version of Monopoly!
I can not wait to get a new game, we love cats and it is about time the dog had a little competition, lol. Though my youngest would love the helicopter if it had one!
I would definitely have a fight on my hands with this new game piece. The shoe is the current favorite, but not for long.
Where I have been when all this was going on, can’t believe I missed it. I would have kept the iron to be honest maybe the wheelbarrow could have gone.

I like the diamond ring best for a new piece, but I really don’t like them getting rid of the old pieces. That’s what I grew up with! Oh well.
