Introducing Cesar Canine Cuisine Meaty Delights ~ For Small #Dogs

If you recall, not too long ago I posted about Cesar Canine Cuisine‘s new Savory Delight Meals. They were a huge hit with my petite beagle, Mojo. Now she is quite familiar with Cesar prior to the introduction of Savory Delights. It is her favorite brand of wet dog food! Cesar has recently released their Meaty Delights and I knew this would be right up Mojo’s alley! Sure she is little, but I love that Cesar creates hearty meals and food for small dogs.

Cesar Meaty Delights

These meals are just  full of tender chunks of delicious meat. This is great for mixing in with other dog food, especially if it is dry and your dog prefers wet. One of my favorite aspects of the Cesar Meaty Selects is that they come in a resealable 10-ounce cans! This is perfect when I know Mojo will only want about half the can. I can just give her a small amount and easily reseal and save. Flavors include:

• Porterhouse Steak
• Beef
• Filet Mignon
• Grilled Chicken

Since Mojo is part of the family, it is important that I feed her the best dog food possible. Since she’s a little dog, I want her to stay healthy and remain the little powerhouse that she is! She’s my son’s little buddy, and I want her to be around as long as possible. She gives so much to us, the best thing I can do is give her a long life, and delicious meals along the way. With the help of Cesar, I’m able to do that!

How to Introduce New Food to Your Dog

Now this was Mojo’s first time trying the Meaty Delights. Though she has been dining on Cesar brand dog food for quite some time, I would still consider this new to her. I think anytime you decide to change your dog’s food, you should do it gradually so you do not upset their small stomachs. Here are a few steps to keep in mind:

• For the first two days or so, your dog’s meals should be about 75% old food and 25% new food. Mix the two foods together, don’t keep them separated.

• If the first couple of days of the transition go smoothly, you can mix 50% of your dog’s old food with 50% of the new food on days 3 and 4.

• On days 5 and 6, your dog’s meals should be about 75% new food and only 25% of the old food.

• On day 7 let your dog enjoy 100% of the new Cesar food for dogs!

If you are looking for the best food for dogs around, stop your search. It is Cesar. We are long-time Cesar fans and have been absolutely thrilled with their Meaty Delights. Mojo has yet to come across a flavor she does not love, with Filet Mignon as her favorite.
